As the green leaves start turning to beautiful yellow and orange colors, it’ll be time to wear your comfiest sweater and head outside to capture every moment of the autumn. Moreover, during the summer theater staff in Lviv worked on new works to surprise you in the new season, which traditionally begins in autumn. What did the theatres prepare for us in the first month of autumn? At least five exciting performances, which we will tell you about in this article.
The performance "Don Quixote" (ballet)
Visiting the Lviv National Opera and Ballet Theater will remain unforgettable impressions and emotions in the memory of every visitor. The Opera offers for visitors the ballet "Don Quixote", based on the philosophical-adventure novel by Miguel de Cervantes. The plot of this performance are describing crazy adventure of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza, showing the color of the Spanish festivities and telling us about sincere love of Kitri and Vasily. Moreover, the stage is full of luxurious costumes, bright scenery and professional ballet pas. The performance will last two and a half hours divided into three actions.

The performance "Hutsul Year"
The Maria Zankovetska Theater is famous by performances with a rich national flavor. Every performance of the theater contains uniqueness of Ukrainian cultural heritage, customs, rituals, clothing and music canon. The Palace of Culture of Railwaymen "Rocks" will take to the background the atmosphere of medieval Lviv and will amuse visitors with comic theatrical action. The September poster at the Maria Zankovetska Theater will definitely satisfy every visitor. The world-famous play by German dramatist Bertold Brecht deserves special attention. The play "Threepenny Opera" is full of emotional scenes, events, amazing acting and perfect musical accompaniment. A significant number of puppet performances for the youngest spectators will be presented at the Lviv Academic Regional Puppet Theater during September. Of particular note is the family performance master class "On the other side of the screen", where visitors cannot only be in the role of spectators, but also can feel themselves like a real magicians, looking "on the other side of the screen" and learning the secrets of puppetry.
