New quarantine restrictions in Lviv

From January 22, 2022 Lviv is moving to the "orange" quarantine zone. Update 02.01.2021

Before buying tickets to the desired destination, tourists and visitors normally look for current news about local quarantine restrictions. So we share information about the situation with Covid-19 in Ukraine and the new quarantine rules in Lviv.

Please note that to visit most public places in Lviv you need to have one of the following documents:

  1. Vaccination certificate confirming vaccination against COVID-19
  2. Negative test result for COVID-19 by PCR
  3. Rapid antigen test within 72 hours of entry
  4. Recovery of a person from COVID-19

Except people younger than 18 y.o.

List of restrictions

Always wear a mask in public buildings and public transport.

⭕ Сultural institutions (museums, galleries, theatres etc.) are allowed to work. All workers and visitors should be vaccinated or poses one of the required documents (see above).

⭕ Cafés and restaurants will be able to work if it will be vaccination of staff and visitors or negative PCR tests. And they still can work on takeaway and delivery.

⭕ Hotels and similar accommodation establishments continue to work subject to vaccination of staff and visitors or negative PCR tests.

⭕ Guided tours for groups are allowed for vaccinated.

⭕ Shopping and entertainment centers are able to work if it will be vaccination of staff. 

⭕ Food shops, pet stores and pharmacies are open.

⭕ Fitness centers and gyms are open in case of vaccination or negative PCR tests (staff and customers).

⭕ The workshops for repairing clothes, shoes and electrical appliances remain open.

⭕ Churches are open.
