The exposition is located in the house where the poet, writer, politician and one of the greatest sons of Ukraine lived.
Mykhailo Hrushevskyi was a neighbour of Ivan Franko.
He favoured Ivan Franko, considering that he had a great talent, and sometimes even had to defend him against the attacks of "avid Galician patriots".
However, the city was spreading rumours that frequent and noisy guests of Ivan Yakovych, family members and other circumstances led to conflicts with neighbours.
Despite all this, the buildings, as well as their owners, remained nearby. The magnificent atmosphere and a very thoughtful selection of museum exhibits will turn the visit of every traveller into an interesting and informative adventure. Today the museum conducts a great educational program and awereness-raising works.
