History
One of the most favorite places of Lviv residents has its historical roots in the last century, namely the Lviv State Circus. Thus, in 1969, according to the plan of the famous architects Adolf Bakhmatov and Mykhailo Kanevskyi, an unusual structure was built, which was destined to become the home of circus art. It was located at the foot of Svyatoyura mountain. Vasyl Kamenshchik was engaged in landscaping and interiors.
From the outside, the circus in Lviv resembles a flattened plate, but when visitors step inside, a completely different view opens up before them. A spacious hall in combination with huge windows creates the impression that the circus is a concentration of warmth and light of the city. As if to confirm this, in the very center of the hall there was a colorful yellow arena, which resembles a shining sun from above.
The circus is a domed, cylindrical building with rooms for actors' toilets and recreation located around the perimeter. The spacious entrance part - the vestibule and the beautifully furnished auditorium - an arena with a dome, surrounded by an amphitheatre of seats for spectators, stands out in particular.
Its area was more than 100 square meters. There are 1,745 seats in the circus.
Throughout its history, the arena of the Lviv Circus has hosted guests from the USA, Germany, Kyrgyzstan, Italy, Moldova, Kazakhstan and many other countries.
Getting to the Lviv State Circus means visiting a fairy tale. It is very easy to do this - you need to book or buy tickets.
Programs
Each program of the Lviv Circus lasts more than a month. As of 2023, despite the full-scale invasion, the "Circus on the Water - Waterland" program, as part of the "Mystery of Atlantis" world tour, is operating from February 11, 2023, to March 19, 2023. And, of course, we will wait for the current programs that took place in the circus, namely:

- "Circus Show Expression"
- "Land of the Amazons"
- "Circus on Ice".
