For two months now, the doors of a new youth space in Lviv have been opened for everyone at the address 31
Chaikovskoho Street. Special Features: Free Admission and the most valuable pastime.
MoloDvizh Center was founded on the initiative of the youth of Lviv region and Lviv City Council. The centre was opened only recently, but it has already gained recognition among the residents of the city.
Accessible location and modern design with large panoramic windows did their job and caused wow-effect: the large and cosy, well-lit room attracted the eyes of passers-by even before the official opening.
There are flowers, books and board games for everyone to enjoy it in this unique space.
First of all, MoloDvizh Center isabout people: the team of the centre and its visitors
It's always crowded here! This space is about networking and community-building, about new friends, colleagues, learning, working and playing, about important and not-so-conversations... so if you need the perfect silence for concentration, this is not a place of quietness you were looking for.
Here you will find the opportunity to be in the co-working area, which is more nobly called "Relax&SPA": work, read, play board games or just chat with others.
On the ground floor, there is a spacious bright hall - "Podium", to be more precise - educational or entertaining events from various youth initiatives are held here: lectures, pieces of training, workshops, discussions and even more.
Here you will also find a small, cosy kitchen where happy people drink coffee and eat cakes from the Rukavychka
supermarket located nearby.
Other space, which is popularly known as the "Workshop", we use for closed meetings, film watching, discussions or just large-scale events (the hall is the largest one and can accommodate about 60 people).
The headquarters of the Center that is a team cabinet at the same time, and a small room for two people for talks or interviews - the "Aquarium", as well as the computer class created with the support of the Center's partners - Pix Lab, are also located here!
MoloDvizh Center has several projects to fulfil. Among them is the implementation of the UNICEF “Children and Youth Friendly City” initiative, and conducting a large-scale survey on the Youth Welfare together with the United Nations Population Fund in Ukraine, as well as LvivMoloDvizhResearch surveys on all areas of youth life, a mega-popular forum Molodvizh Festival, which gathers young people from all over Ukraine, and many other small but important projects.
"Here we create ourselves for the city, and the city for ourselves!" – the young people who support the values and ideals of the Center – assures us. And, you know, when you cross the doorstep of the room, you are greeted by a smiling administrator, your friend is waving you a hand, and the next speaker is starting his very interesting lecture – involuntarily you begin to believe it and feel a part of this youth space.
