Lviv Modern Architecture

Residential complexes, creative spaces, and even libraries – these are not all the facilities and locations that have emerged in Lviv in our times. The city is developing and evolving. There are new structures that are already shaping the face of Lviv.

Leisure and relaxation

Duck’s lake

Among the recently developed locations that have already captured the hearts of residents and city visitors is the lake at the intersection of Stryiska and Naukova streets. This area is accessible to various segments of the population, and it holds interest for individuals of all age groups. Within its premises, there is an office center, apartments, restaurants, an interactive museum, and more.

Futura hub та KIVSH

"Futura Hub" is a modern coworking space located at 200a Kleparivska Street. Here, there is a developed infrastructure with numerous facilities, recreational complexes, workspaces, sports facilities, and children's rooms. "Bucket" at 120 Shevchenko Street is a space for co-creation. Cultural events, educational programs, public gatherings can be organized here, along with sports facilities, gastronomic establishments, fitness clubs, and galleries. This location emerged on the site of industrial facilities from both Austrian and Soviet eras – the former workshop of a forklift factory.

Park. Art of Rest

In the lower part of the Park of Culture, it's impossible not to notice the "Park. Art of Rest" restaurant. The first floor of the complex is dedicated to the restaurant itself. They serve dishes from European cuisine, signature cocktails, and wine. The space on the second floor easily adapts for wedding celebrations, conferences, or corporate events. The establishment includes a children's playground and a children's menu. "Park. Art of Rest" is located on the site of the former "Friendship" cinema. This cinema was built during Soviet times, in 1952. The establishment operated until the second half of the 1990s. Several years ago, the building of the former cinema was reconstructed into a restaurant complex.

Kilinski

The upper terrace of Striysky Park is the place where the Regional Exhibition of 1894 took place, and later the Eastern Fair. The first had epochal significance for Lviv. The exhibition showcased the achievements of Galicia, and for its needs, an electric tramway appeared in Lviv. The city was visited by many people, including Emperor Franz Joseph. The Eastern Fair was an important event in the economic and political life of the city.

The "Kilinski" restaurant is located on the site of the former pavilion. According to the project, the former exhibition pavilion was supposed to be reconstructed into a restaurant. The project did not involve raising the roof or adding extensions. The reconstruction was intended to take place within the walls of the previous building. "Kilinski" introduces the gastronomic traditions of France. Weddings and ceremonies are organized here.
