We have said "bay-bay" to summer and miss warm and sunny days. But autumn also has many pleasant moments, especially if you find yourself in Lviv. The city's musical repertoire in September is colorful enough to make the arrival of autumn brighter.
Odyn v Kanoe. A warm concert

If the beginning of the cold and rainy season still sets you in a minor mood, we advise you to immerse yourself in the gentle melody of the music "Odyn v Kanoe". This is a Lviv band, so their concerts are common here, but each of them is long-awaited and special. This summer, the musicians released a new album. Fans have been waiting for it for 5 years. This is the band's second studio album, which contains 12 songs and a bit of sound experimentation. The musicians added elements of electronics (synthesizer and electric guitar) to the usual acoustic guitar and percussion. The lyrics remain invariably deep but now go far beyond intimate lyrics, touching on social and historical themes. We have a good opportunity to listen to new songs and warm-up together at a "warm concert"
Kalush

We also have an option for fans of a more brutal sound. Kalush - bright representatives of new Ukrainian music. The band appeared relatively recently - in 2019 and has only one studio album - "HOTIN", which was released this winter. However, the guys already have a lot of fans (the most popular track "Zori" has collected 7 million views on YouTube) thanks to the fresh and lively hip-hop and original read styling. The musicians are good at both dynamic tracks about the street life of Kalush and lyrical compositions. Sometimes obscure but honest lyrics and colorful looks of the band members are their calling cards.
Okean Elzy

Today, the band Okean Elzy is a legend of Ukrainian music, which has released 9 albums in more than 20 years of existence, changed many members, and won the hearts of millions of fans in Ukraine and around the world. But once the guys were novice musicians, and the history of the band at the beginning is deeply connected with the University of Lviv, student of which was the frontman, Svyatoslav Vakarchuk.
This year we celebrate the 360th anniversary of Ivan Franko University, the oldest in Ukraine. So the leader of the band decided to make a gift to his alma mater and hometown and arrange a big free concert on University Square. The performance of the musicians will be accompanied by a grand light show aimed at the main building of the university. Not only students but also anyone can join the celebration.
