Lviv Academic Regional Puppet Theater began its activity on April 15, 1946.
The first premier of that time was the performance "Ivasyk-Telesyk", which took place in the premises of the Handicraft Chamber. Theater repertoire included performances for adults and children. In particular,
the repertoire included performances based on folk and literary tales. The following performances took place on the stage: "Koza-Dereza", "Pan Kotsky", "Dyed fox" by I. Franko, "Snow Queen" by G.K. Andersen, "Rikki-
Ticki-Tavi" by R. Kipling etc.
The Puppet Theater also offered performances for
adults: "Night before Christmas" by M. Gogol, "Mademoiselle Nitush" by G. Meliak and A. Millo, "Catch a moment of success" K. Ryzhova, "The Trouble
of a Delicate Heart" by V. Sologub, "Lefty" by Leskov etc.
Since March 2017 the theater is actively developing, working on its new image and new artistic areas - developing performances for children, adult repertoire,
educational projects and interdisciplinary events.
Ticket Office is open daily from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. (Lunch – 2 p.m.-3 p.m.) – except Monday.
