The pandemic continues to make adjustments to our daily lives. Lviv residents and guests of the city have to adhere to the strict rules of the all-Ukrainian lockdown after active winter holidays.
However, this is not a reason to give up interesting cultural leisure. We have prepared a list of unexpected and safe places that will be interesting for both native Lviv residents and experienced travelers.
An outdoor exhibition by Jam Factory Art Center
The center of contemporary art in Pidzamcha is only under construction, but the institution is already surprising with large-scale projects. There is a construction banner 32 meters long with the artistic work of the artist Olena Subach "A place for" on the building of the Jam Factory, which is currently being restored. This is the largest work of public art in Lviv.
Banner Art is an open-air exhibition that anyone can visit at any time of the day, learn more about public art and form their own impression of the work.
Also there are exhibition panels under the banner, like in a gallery. They describe the history of the project and the concept of the work on the banner, as well as depict the works of other finalists of the competition.

Lviv Street Gallery
The Lviv Street Gallery was renovated at the end of 2020 as part of the Equilibrium project. This is already the third version of the gallery,that created by 12 artists. Each work is individual, but the whole exhibition is united by the general theme of equilibrium and balance. The gallery contributes to a dialogue between street artists and city residents and gives an opportunity to passers-by to contemplate modern art. The exposition will constantly change to respond to current problems and for generating new concepts.
Have time to see these works of art, try to understand the embedded metaphors and also enjoy quality works of modern art.

The territory of the "REMA" plant
It was a large-scale enterprise in the past and now it serves as an environment of intellectual and physical activity. Offices, photo studios, workshops, public spaces, galleries of modern art are located here. We invite you to explore the territory of the "REMA" plant and find unique objects of modern street art. Street art of the Painted Fox association has been turning this space into an open-air gallery for last several years. Unexpectedly interesting works can be found throughout the territory of the plant.

Street artist dArt_Painter deals directly with the city and creats works on current social topics. In Lviv, there are about ten works of this artist. Its lifetime is not long due to the actions of communal enterprises or passers-by. We invite you to visit the work "Breakfast on Lysia Gora on the last day of quarantine". The artist used characters from the work of E. Manet: "Breakfast on the Grass", but updated them with new elements.
