Stilsko hillfort is a unique monument of archaeology, ancient Slavic history and culture.
It is located near the Stilsko village that is in Mykolaiv raion of Lviv region. It is supposed, that a hillfort could be part of the ancient White Croatia that was destroyed after the devastating campaign of Kniaz Volodymyr Sviatoslavovych.
During archaeological excavations the remains of residential and craft buildings, household items and tools, rider and saddle horse armour, weapons and jewellery were found. At the end of 10th - at the beginning of the 11th century, Stilsko and nearby settlements suddenly disappeared. Adventure seekers still generate various hypotheses about this phenomenon.
