We invite you until May 7th to experience the blossoming spring at the open-air museum with the exhibition of contemporary sacred art by Ulyana Nyshchuk, titled "Zakvitchani" ("Flower-Adorned"). In her works, Ulyana combines naive folk iconography with high painting culture, bright colors with monochrome compositions, and graphic interpretation. Her floral motifs indicate her interest in folk iconography and art while remaining modern and relevant.
The title "Zakvitchani" aptly unites works of different times and techniques presented at the exhibition. Ulyana Nyshchuk is a Lviv native, who graduated from Lviv College of Decorative and Applied Arts named after I. Trush in 2004 with a degree in industrial graphics. In 2014, she completed her studies at Lviv National Academy of Arts, Department of Monumental Painting. Her personal artistic interests include easel, monumental, and sacred painting, philosophy of art, and research of ethnic culture.
