Exhibition of portraits of Ukrainian composers

  • Exhibitions

From January 25 to February 25, the Lviv Organ Hall will host an exhibition of portraits of Ukrainian composers.

A unique exhibition of portraits of Ukrainian composers in the Gallery of the Lviv Organ Hall. It is a synthesis of painting, graphics, digital design, music and literature. This exhibition will unfold stories from the life and work of leading Ukrainian composers, as well as authors whose names have been undeservedly forgotten or deliberately erased from our memory. Created especially for the Ukrainian Live project, portraits of the artist Hlib Rakhmanin, as well as designs by Arseniy Diskovskyi and Yulia Pendrak, will come to life on the walls of the Organny gallery.

They will be complemented by cute biographies of the composers, authored by Maksym Lunin, and QR codes with a link to their music will help you immerse yourself in the universe of each of the composers. Also, for the first time and only at this exhibition, the world's smallest portrait of Mykhailo Verbytskyi, the author of the music to the National Anthem of Ukraine, will be presented. And the largest existing portrait of the composer can be viewed in the Organ Hall.
