The Interrupted Line is an exhibition in honor of Ostap Lozynsky, a famous icon painter who would have turned 40 this year in April! It is to showcase the incredible icons of Ostap Lozynsky that the new gallery space in Lviv, Shum, will open its doors for the first time.
Thanks to the joint efforts of his friends, colleagues, and many people, we managed to collect more than 70 works by the artist: his first attempts at creative icon painting, his search for an icon in painting, his love for folk images, his fascination with ancient Ukrainian icons, and the modern quest of Ukrainian and European masters. We invite everyone to come to the exhibition to see the works left by the talented icon painter!
