Exhibition of paintings by Oleksandr Fraze-Frazenko "Tenderness"

  • Exhibitions

From January 16 to February 16, the Sheptytsky Center will host an exhibition of paintings by Oleksandr Fraze-Frazenko entitled "Tenderness".

"Tenderness" is a way of finding one's own softness, deep and quiet warmth hidden inside everyone from the dangers of the world. How can we see poetry in the everyday? How can we see it in the world around us? Is it possible at all?

According to Oleksandr, poetry is the key to yourself. By knowing yourself, you can recognize the principles of the world's existence, and thus improve the quality of your own life. In this way, the author tries to encourage the viewer to engage in this process. The exhibition includes paintings and graphic works of the artist from different periods over the past 16 years. Oleksandr Fraze-Frazenko is a film director (author of the documentary series "Poets"), writer and musician, but he is less known as an artist. Over the years, he has had solo and group exhibitions in Ukraine and Georgia. His artistic works are kept in private collections in Poland, Germany, the USA and Ukraine.
