The dynamic changes that have taken place in the creative industries over the past decades of state independence have revealed one of the most inert links - art education. It certainly changed, but too slowly. We can't say that the problem of overcoming the vestiges of the past, the optimal combination of historical experience and the needs of the new generation of creative youth has been finally solved, that the modern student is in a modernized educational system that guarantees a real variety of ways to become a bright creative personality. Despite the existing difficulties, we have reason to believe that contemporary Ukrainian art is quite consistent with the processes that took place in the twentieth century. At the level of underground non-conformism, it managed to preserve the principles of free creativity and today has a solid historical foundation that allows finding national specificity in an endless variety of modern forms.
