From January 17 to February 12, the Green Sofa gallery will host the exhibition of Daria Zavіalova and Olena Zotova's "Calendar".
The calendar is the rhythm of time, a reliable keeper of the memory of what lay at the heart of each culture, as well as the keeper of each person's personal history. Dates of births, deaths, celebrations and work schedules. And also - the rhythmic dimension of nature and human life.
In 2020, Daria Zavialova created a series of 12 textile collages called 12/20, dedicated to each month of that quarantine year.
Olena Zotova has a series of textile collages "Four Seasons of the Forest", a homage to Parajanov, which also reflects time cycles, in particular of nature.
These series, complemented by other landscapes of the artists, will make up the exhibition "Calendar" in the Green Sofa Gallery.
The sense of the value of every day, and the importance of every moment has never been more acute. So at the beginning of the year, we invite you to visit the exhibition of two fellow theatre artists, creative like-minded people and just friends.
