From December 27 to January 17, the Arsenal Museum will host the exhibition "Art Armor".
The exhibition presents 12 art objects created by artists from armour plates within the framework of the ArtArmor art project. The Armed Forces of Ukraine handed over "used" armour plates that successfully fulfilled their mission in battle - stopped enemy bullets and fragments.
Well-known Ukrainian artists Ivan Marchuk, Tiberiy Silvashi, Nazar Bilyk, Petro Bevza, Andrii Bludov, Yurii Vakulenko, Oleksii Sai, Svitlana Ratoshniuk, Anton Logov, Leonid Kolodnytskyi, icon painter Andrii Okhotskyi turned these armoured plates into art objects with exclusive stories.
The initiator and head of the "Art Armor" project, co-founder of the charitable foundation "Ukraine for Heroes" Oleksandr Kovalchuk said that the next countries of the exhibition will be Poland, the Baltic States and the European Union, and the exhibition is planned to end in London.
