The play "The Thirteenth Woman" is a stage reading of the play by Theodosia Zarivna about the fate of a famous Hollywood actress of German origin. Although the name of the heroine is not mentioned in the play, many songs by Marlene Dietrich are heard and actress Natalia Lan quotes excerpts from the novel by Ernest Hemingway. Thus, the viewer immediately understands that this is the love story of these famous people. Their platonic feelings in letters lasted almost 30 years.
