The masters of gloomy punk cabaret and great friends of our country, The Tiger Lillies, are returning with a concert in Lviv. They are bringing a special program with them, consisting of their best hits and songs from their upcoming album, "Ukraine." The Tiger Lillies have stood by Ukraine from the early days of the full-scale invasion, constantly speaking about it on their social media and highlighting the events taking place here.
To help us even more, The Tiger Lillies have decided to do the best thing a musician can do – record an album titled "Ukraine." The work on it is in its final stages. We invite you to be the first to hear it live on July 11 at !FESTrepublic. The Tiger Lillies will perform hits that span their entire career. Over these 30 years, there have been many interesting and unexpected things: theatrical productions, involvement in creating the cult musical Shockheaded Peter, which has two prestigious Laurence Olivier Awards, and even a collaborative album with Kronos Quartet, which is Grammy-nominated.
However, The Tiger Lillies' main quality in their diverse cultural endeavors has remained true to their artistic path. Specifically, the world they create through their songs. Dark, somewhat haunting on one hand, and entertaining and captivating on the other.
