A piano recital by the famous Ukrainian pianist Antoinette Mishchenko is dedicated to the work of Viktor Kosenko
The composer's life is marked by professional ups and downs, fame and high appreciation of his contemporaries. Viktor Kosenko was flattered to receive a European musical education and to etch his name in history as an unsurpassed lyricist. A brilliant pianist, creator of the cultural life of Zhytomyr and Kyiv, whose work influenced subsequent generations of composers. At the same time, Kosenko lived with the constant fear of being destroyed by the totalitarian machine of communism.
We invite you to a concert of piano music by one of the most important figures in the European musical culture of the 20th century - Viktor Kosenko.
