The history of organ music in Lviv counts several hundred years. Therefore, it is particularly gratifying that this tradition continues and the sound of the organ is accessible to Lviv residents and guests of the city today. Mozart, Bach, Vivaldi, but also soundtracks to popular modern movies - all of this can be heard in Lviv on one of the largest organs in Ukraine.

Flowers and Gunpowder. Lithuania-Ukraine

"Flowers and Gunpowder" is a synthesis of music with visual imagery, combining a contemporary interpretation of Ukrainian folk songs with video installation. The duo of Lithuanian pianist Darius Majin-tas and Ukrainian vocalist Nadia Adamchuk will present the most famous melodies of Ukrainian folklore and works by contemporary composer Valentin Silvestrov to the audience. The performers believe that Ukrainian folk music is a treasure of high artistic value, and its preservation requires a contemporary interpretation of folk melodies, which will be presented in the two-sided cultural project "Flowers and Gunpowder."

Anniversary Symphony Concert: 80 Years of the Luhansk Philharmonic

Enjoy a program of bright and well-known compositions performed by the symphony orchestra with the participation of three conductors as the Luhansk Philharmonic celebrates its 80th anniversary on the stage of the Lviv Organ Hall.
Since the outbreak of full-scale invasion, the Luhansk Philharmonic found itself in Lviv. Musicians have had to seek refuge from the war and the Russian "peace," which initially took away their native Luhansk and, in 2022, Severodonetsk, which provided them temporary shelter.
