On Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at 16.00, we invite you to the opening of a personal exhibition of the famous Lviv photographer ROMAN HERYNOVYCH.
Life is stronger than death... Laughter conquers tears... Fear disappears in a mother's arms... These are the thoughts that come to mind when you look at the exhibition "Born Free" by the photographer Roman Herynovych. The photographs created during the military years of 2022-2023 show children's faces. These are "live" photos, not staged, taken in different life situations: during excursions and museum lessons in the Lviv Historical Museum, on the streets of Lviv... What are they like? Children growing up to the sounds of air raid sirens, shuddering from explosions, separated from their parents and native places, children whose childhood was taken away by the war... They remain children! Sad and cheerful, mischievous and concentrated, dreamy, children like children, only with adult eyes... The proposed exhibition reminds us once again why and for whom our soldiers are defending Ukraine, defending its independence. The answer is in these bright children's faces - for the sake of Freedom and the Future in a free Ukrainian state!
