We are pleased to inform you that the gallery is holding an exhibition of Yaroslava Tkachuk's Berehyni (Beregyni). According to her, "Berehyni" is always about women, about emotions, feelings, and the body. When I think of a woman, I always imagine the space and energy around her, a woman for me is first and foremost a creator. Each of us, either consciously or subconsciously, creates a unique space around us, so Berehyni are women who embody the image of something primordial, something that you can't immediately understand. There are many associations, in the present time we can associate a woman-berehynia with Ukraine, family, especially those who have lost their homes and relatives and are forced to create a new space in new conditions, and also about defenders, about those who literally protect us all.
