The "Green Sofa" Art Gallery is a private contemporary art gallery founded in 2006. It is located in the historic quarter of Lviv on Armenian Street, in building number 7, which used to house an Armenian court, under the bell tower of the Armenian Cathedral (built in 1570). The exhibition at the "Green Sofa" gallery changes every three to four weeks.
In total, the gallery presents about 20 diverse and conceptual exhibitions and projects throughout the year, covering topics such as painting, illustration, ceramics, photo projects, and more. The majority of the artists showcased are from Lviv. The gallery collaborates with many well-known artists and is constantly introducing new names. Additionally, the "Green Sofa" engages in educational activities in the field of contemporary art for a wide audience of visitors, successfully representing Lviv art at various international festivals and exhibitions.
