Exhibition by Olga Pohribna-Koch "The Twelfth Angel"

  • Exhibitions

In Lviv, at the Iconart gallery, artist Olha Pohribna-Kokh presents the painting exhibition "The Twelfth Angel." Created at different times and in different artistic styles, the works illustrate the artist's creative need to paint the images that emerge on the canvas through the features of recognizable individuals. "He does not position himself as an angel in the task he is compelled to fulfill at present, hiding his still-white wings beneath a military cloak. It is evident that battles are fought far away, with a leaden sky heavy and ominous. On the horizon lies the ancient city, as history repeats itself: the envious kill those who are more successful and happier than them..."
