On October 18, at Citadel Inn – Gastro Boutique Hotel & Restaurant, the opening of the art exhibition "Art of Living!" will take place, featuring works by Ukrainian and foreign artists
In turbulent times of war, art becomes a necessary solace and a means of expressing feelings, hope, and support for people experiencing tragedies and stress. It can unite society, providing a platform for expressing deep emotions and reflecting on the events of war. Thus, on Wednesday, October 18, at 6:30 PM, the exhibition "Art of Living!" will open at Citadel Inn – Gastro Boutique Hotel & Restaurant (11 Grabovskoho Street).
As artist Yuriy Denysenko says, one must work without inspiration because inspiration comes during work.
Can there be art during war?
Absolutely – yes! After all, we are fighting for our culture, for our way of life. That is why Ukrainians strive to defend their freedom from imperial invasion, and each person in the rear tries to do something important for their people, their nation, and its culture.
The task of artists is to inspire society even in times of war. To achieve this, an international art group gathered at the Citadel Inn – Gastro Boutique Hotel & Restaurant for the Citadel Art Plein Air art residency.
For over two weeks, renowned artists such as Oleg Denysenko, Vladyslav Sherishevsky, Albina Yaloza, Olena Pryduvalova, Serhiy Korniyevsky, Ed Potapenkov, Yuriy Denysenko, Katerina Haneichuk, Konrad Dobrucki, and Paulina Mirowska worked on the theme "Art of Living!".
The result of this work is over 20 works that will be presented at the exhibition opening, which will take place in the Citadel Lobby.
By attending the event, you will have the opportunity to be inspired by the artworks, converse with the authors, and purchase what resonates with you. Admission is free.
The exhibition opening will be accompanied by flute music in a cozy and tranquil atmosphere.
