From January 20 to February 5, the Lviv Palace of Arts will host the International exhibition "Art in Times of War".
The exhibition "Art during the war" is a synergy of large-scale projects in 2022: "DIALOGUE OF THE CENTURIES: DNA of Ukrainian Avant-Garde and Modern" and "Patriotic ART poster in the style of Ukrainian decorative paintings", implemented in partnership with the NMUIA.
The goal is to popularize Ukrainian cultural heritage (avant-garde embroidery and traditional folk paintings), which still inspire Ukrainians to create.
During the exhibition, visitors will be able to purchase any exhibit for a donation.
The funds, thanks to the powerful volunteer community, are directed to the needs of specific units of the Armed Forces.
The exhibition will feature the best exhibits that are the decoration of the travelling exposition of the UA. Heritage online museum:
a series of outstanding works created by Ukrainian women during the war based on 100 years of sketches of the Ukrainian avant-garde and art nouveau. These are embroidered panels, pysanka, embroidered jewellery boxes, jewellery and accessories.
As well as modern patriotic art posters, created in the style of Ukrainian decorative paintings, and painted in the best traditions of folk painting, artillery shells were fired at the Russian invaders.
