On December 27, at 6 pm, the Lviv Puppet Theater will host the performance "The Old Lady is Hatching".
This is the first appeal of the "Theatre in a Basket" to Polish drama. The work was born out of the need to discover the work of Tadeusz Ruzewicz for the Ukrainian audience. Who she is, this bizarre Old Lady, stuck at the crossroads of the world and the crossroads of history, hovering between heaven and earth, madness and sanity, poetry and prose?
In Ruzhevych's time, they talked about the absurdity of the world, today we talk about its hybridity... So maybe we should stop "hatching" and finally "hang out" from this world, saying "fie" and "bye-bye" to it?
