Together with the L.Stage ballet school and theater, we are preparing a special event - a children's ballet. A magical, colorful performance that, in addition to exquisite costumes, weightless choreography and beautiful music, prepares many more surprises for the audience. No one can tell a fairy tale story better than children. Children and teenagers who were forced to move to Lviv after the outbreak of the war are also involved in the preparation of the ballet. The Adventures of the Little Girl Freckles, a 1969 ballet based on the famous fairy tale by H.C. Andersen, is based on the story of Thumbelina. Rethinking the fairy tale, the composer adds vivid national features to this story through the musical language, and most importantly, by naming the main character Vesnyanka. Spring in the ballet is a symbol of renewal, the victory of life over death.
