The surrealistic comedy "Djalapita" in the First Theater is the first production on the Ukrainian stage of the work of Emma Andievska.
Everyone heard about Jalapita's incredible deeds. He was known as a space traveler, inventor of extraordinary things and author of amazing discoveries. When Jalapita appeared among people, they did not go to him for magical stars, but with completely ordinary questions: problems with pipes, expansion of private space, etc. Jalapita did not refuse anyone, but he also solved problems in a very unusual way...
The director of the play is Artem Vusyk, known to Lviv residents for the plays "Transformation" and "Love). An important component of the performance is the plastic and choreography created by Nina Khyzhna. The artistic space for the performance was created by the honored artist of Ukraine Maryan Savitsky, and the bright graffiti was created by the famous Ukrainian pop art artist Serhiy Yakimenko (nominee for the PinchukArtCentre 2015 award).
