The All-Ukrainian charity billiards competition LVIV OPEN AID will take place in Lviv at the beginning of October
From October 5th to 8th, at the billiard club "ZOVEX" located at 212 Bohdana Khmelnytskoho St. (territory of the "Vesna" factory, 2nd floor), a prestigious All-Ukrainian billiards tournament will be held. Athletes will compete in the exciting modern discipline of "Free pyramid with extension." The tournament will feature leading players from Lviv, western regions, and all of Ukraine. Among the participants will be the best athletes, including world champions, holders of the World Cup, multiple winners of international tournaments, and champions of Ukraine from various years.
In the preliminary stage - qualification, which will take place on October 6th and 7th, the top 16 athletes will be determined from all those wishing to participate. On Sunday, October 8th, the main (final) stage of the competition will begin and last the whole day, concluding with the finals.
Schedule of the competition:
October 5th: Arrival of participants, registration, draw.
October 6th: 11:00. Opening ceremony of the tournament. Qualification - start of matches.
October 7th: 11:00. Continuation of qualification. 16:00. 1/16 finals, 1/8 finals.
October 8th: 11:00. 1/4 finals. 14:00. 1/2 finals.
17:00 (estimated time). Charity auction - fundraising for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
18:00. Final.
After the conclusion of the final - the closing ceremony of the tournament. All participants will be presented with commemorative souvenirs, and the top players will receive awards - cups, medals, and diplomas of corresponding degrees.
The exciting matches of the final stage will be broadcasted on the XSPORT channel, with video coverage provided by "NaZhyvo" company. Throughout the competition, video broadcasting will be available on the BilliardNews and FSBU YouTube channels.
Throughout the tournament, funds will be collected from the audience both at the competition venue in a special box and online during video broadcasts with a valuable prize draw for the winner. All proceeds from the entry fees of participating athletes will also be donated for charitable purposes. The main event will be a charity auction among the audience and invited guests, which will take place before the start of the final match. All funds received from these collections by the organizers will be directed to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, specifically for the purchase of an FPV drone and a Mavic 3T quadcopter, and for the HopeKids project, aimed at the rehabilitation of children affected by the consequences of Russian aggression.
