On January 12, the opera "Fox Mykyta" will be performed at the Lviv Opera and Ballet Theater.
The opera " Fox Mykyta" by Ukrainian composer Ivan Nebesnyi was written especially for the Lviv National Opera! The libretto was created by the director of the performance Vasyl Vovkun based on the famous fairy tale poem by Ivan Franko.
The opera is recommended for family viewing because the seemingly children's fairy tale and entertaining plot hide acute and always relevant social issues. The world of animals, the characters of the fairy tale, is very similar to human society, where its own laws of the struggle for life reign.
