The program includes the opening of the exhibition of photographs by Serhii Hlotov, who has been staying at the Ukrainian Antarctic station Academician Vernadsky for almost 6 months as a wintering biologist as part of the 27th Ukrainian Antarctic expedition. During this time he has already made many beautiful photos and would like to tell about Ukraine in the Antarctic.
It is also planned to watch a video about the life of the 27th Ukrainian Antarctic expedition, filmed specifically for the opening of the exhibition.
The highlight, under favourable weather conditions, should be an online tour of the Antarctic station "Academician Vernadsky". Let's hope that the weather will favour us and we will see in real-time how and where Ukrainian polar explorers live.
Traditionally, before and after the events, you will be treated to coffee from Old Lviv.
