In 2022, Lviv was awarded the status of European Youth Capital 2025
This title has been granted by the European Youth Forum since 2009 to cities across Europe for a period of one year.
It is a recognition for a city that embraces change and always moves forward. Lviv has become a home for young people from all over Ukraine—those who don’t just observe but actively create, unite, and initiate change.
