Lviv Urban Forum 2025 Program
The largest Ukrainian event in the field of architecture and urbanism, Lviv Urban Forum, will take place on June 11–13 in Lviv.
This international event will bring together—for the third time—Ukrainian and international architects, urban planners, activists, and representatives of local governments in Lviv. This year, around 1,500 participants are expected to attend, including city mayors, architects, urbanists, students, community representatives, and engaged citizens.
In the context of global challenges and the ongoing war, the forum will focus on the theme "Building Continuity"—exploring comprehensive approaches to urban planning and development. It emphasizes conscious growth that builds on previous knowledge and rules while also responding to today’s pressing issues.
The rich three-day program will feature urban explorations, workshops, book presentations, networking opportunities, as well as lectures and discussions led by some of the world’s leading practitioners.
Among the speakers will be internationally renowned architects behind iconic European urban projects. These include the founder of the “analog architecture” concept and designer of one of Europe’s largest contemporary urban projects—Aspern Seestadt in Vienna; the head of Max Dudler Architekten’s Munich office; the architect of the EUROPA building (headquarters of the European Council) in Brussels; and the author of the "15-minute city" model. And that’s just a part of the lineup—dozens of architects and urban planners will be sharing their experiences in transforming urban spaces.
