Tenderness and expression are the sensual messages of the Violin&Piano program. Talented Lviv musicians, violinist Marta Hereha and pianist Yurii Danylov, will perform the music of Cesar Franck and Fedir Yakymenko.
With its artistic fuss, sophistication, and experimentalism, Paris served as a significant city for both composers. In the mid-19th century, Paris became the hub of César Franck’s life and creativity. At the same time, for the Ukrainian Fedor Yakymenko, a gifted pianist and composer, Paris was a refuge during the tumultuous 20s of the 20th century.
