The more light is directed at an object, the thicker shadow it casts.
The history of mankind knows the names of geniuses who managed to brand their names despite the passage of time. The creations of Dante and Shakespeare, Da Vinci and Van Gogh, Mozart and Brahms, and Edison and Niepce changed time. These are names that have remained with us until today, and their lives are sprouting more and more myths and legends. And like many other talented artists and inventors, they were unable to emerge from the shadow of the names that marked the epochs.
The concert of the INSO-Lviv quintet is a change of focus to concentrate on the shadows. The musicians offer to plunge into the sophisticated atmosphere of the capital of the Austrian Empire, which was rightfully considered the centre of musical life in Europe for more than one century. The concert program will feature the music of colleagues and rivals of Viennese classics, famous composers of that time - Johann Hummel and Joseph Lab.
