On January 7, at 4 pm, the concert "Christmas at the Lviv Opera" will take place.
Unforgettable atmosphere and magic of Christmas in the 120-year-old theatre... With the first flickering light in the sky, angelic choirs glorify the birth of Christ! This evening is bright and pure, family warmth, Christmas stories, songs and family traditions are an indispensable part of the fabulous snowy mood.
And this mood in the walls of the Lviv Opera will be presented by the Volyn Folk Choir - a collective known in Ukraine and in the world. For more than 40 years of its activity, it has presented to the audience more than 3500 concerts. Its repertoire includes about 300 songs, dances, and orchestral, vocal and choreographic compositions. On January 7, the Volyn Folk Choir will congratulate all Lviv residents on the bright holiday of Christmas. Song, dance and instrumental music will be woven into a bright Christmas story of colourful vocal and choreographic compositions and ethnographic paintings.
This evening, there will be ancient carols, as well as well-known and familiar Christmas songs. So everyone will be able to sing and share the warmth and joy of the Christmas miracle.
