On December 22, at 6 pm, the Lviv Opera House will host the concert "Carols. Tribute to Christmas songs".
What songs did the residents of Eastern Ukraine celebrate Christmas and New Year with for centuries? How many carols from these regions do you know or have you heard at least once? We can assure you that they are simply unsurpassed in their beauty - from the very first sounds you are left with a warm feeling and an elusive memory as if you have known them since childhood.
An additional pleasure is added by the fact that through the songs you discover something new about Ukraine! Roman Melish and Anzhelika Rudnytska under the powerful symphonic accompaniment of the Liatoshynskyi Capella of the National House of Music will present old and little-known carols from Kharkiv, Donetsk and Luhansk regions in a modern arrangement by composer Yevhen Petrychenko.
Who knows, maybe at "Koliada" you will find new favourite Christmas songs for yourself?
