The program of the concert in memory of Astor Piazzolla includes "Seasons in Buenos Aires". The Tango of Freedom by Astor Piazzolla, an Argentine composer of the twentieth century, a performer on the bandoneon (a kind of accordion), is called "El Gran Ástor" ("The Great Astor") in his homeland. It was thanks to Piazzolla that the whole world fell in love with tango nuevo (new tango), which combined Argentine folk dance with classical polyphony and jazz harmonies. Don't miss it!
