For more than a year now, our country has been proving to the world its resilience and will to become independent. In war and disaster, we have experienced not only despair and pain, but also true support. Since February 2022, Poland has become a safe haven for millions of Ukrainians, and Ukrainian music is regularly performed on Polish stages.
This evening, on April 27, on the stage of the Lviv National Philharmonic, the Academic Chamber Orchestra "Lviv Virtuosos" will perform Polish and Ukrainian music together under the baton of the conductor and head of the orchestra Serhiy Burko, in a retrospective from Ukrainian classics: Maksym Berezovsky and Dmytro Bortnyansky to contemporary Polish and Ukrainian composers. Music that is intended to become a dialog about our unity, support and gratitude.
