On January 25, at 7 pm, the Lviv Organ Hall will host a concert "Liudkevych for Four Hands".
Rarely performed works by Stanislav Liudkiewicz, arranged for a piano ensemble, will be performed as part of the Liudkiewicz Fest 2023. The amplitude of moods will range from the heroism of "Shmachka-March" about the Cossack colonel Mykyta Shvachka to the lyrics in "Lament" and "Melancholy Waltz" and up to jokes and kolomyikas in "Chabarashky". A four-handed piano duet is a rather rare type of ensemble that requires complete harmony and coherence from the performers. This is what distinguishes the duo of pianists Natalia Zubko and Petro Dovhan.
