Christmas time is approaching, which reminds us that good always wins over evil, and the light of the first star and the joy of carols cannot be overcome by any enemy force.
The story of the Christmas miracle, wishes of good luck, hidden amulets and symbols - all these lives in carols.
The program prepared by the soloists of the concert Marta Kuziy and Lilia Nikitchuk intertwines familiar Ukrainian and Polish holiday melodies with the sound of the XX-XXI centuries. They will perform Witold Lutosławski's cycle "20 Polish Carols", as well as carols by contemporary Ukrainian composers: Maria Oliynyk, Mykhailo Shved, Yevhen Petrov, Stepan Spekh and Ostap Manulyak.
