Clarinet means "clear sound" in Latin. This woodwind instrument has a rich palette of sound: its technical mobility attracted composers and gave them the opportunity to express a wide variety of moods and feelings. A duet of clarinet and organ is a rather rare and interesting ensemble.
The soaring clear sound of the clarinet accompanied by thousands of organ pipes creates a real extravaganza of sound.
The soloist of the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Luhansk Regional Philharmonic, Vladyslav Borodiy, and the soloist of the Organ Hall, Svitlana Pozdnysheva, will perform Bach's favourite "Adijo" and "Ave Maria", Grieg's "Dance of Anitra" and an operatic fantasy based on themes from Verdi's "Rigoletto".
