On January 15, at 4 pm the Lviv National Philharmonic will host the concert "Hutsulia. Christmas in the Carpathians".
By inviting you to this holiday we confirm that the Hutsul region cannot be imagined without the art of its highlanders. Our concert is a modest dedication to the talent of Hutsuls dominated by inexhaustible folk rituals and traditions, pearls of Hutsul song and choreographic heritage: carols, Christmas carols, folk festivals, namely - "St. Andrew's Evenings", Verkhovyna "Place", "Voronska Malanka", "Jordanian round dances", triple musicians, trembitars and other Hutsul curiosities.
Concert costumes and musical instruments of the ensemble are not just staged costumes, but real works of folk art that deeply impress the viewer's imagination. The Hutsul Song and Dance Ensemble are one of the brightest original creative groups in the rainbow wreath of Ukrainian national culture, which for more than 75 years has been tirelessly working to preserve the immortal flavour of the Hutsul region.
