On December 1, at 7 pm, the concert "Angel's Touch" will be held at the Lviv National Opera.
Modern Ukrainian classics will be performed by the star duet of violinist Bohdana Pivnenko and pianist Anna Khmara in the luxurious atmosphere of the Mirror Hall. Three composers whose names are impossible not to know and the music that has marked the last decades of Ukrainian musical culture.
The program of the concert "Angel's Touch" will open with instrumental music by Myroslav Skoryk, Yevhen Stankovych and Valentyn Silvestrov. Sonata №1 was written as a diploma work of Myroslav Skoryk during his studies at the conservatory. And the outstanding "Melody" became almost a musical symbol of Ukraine. The work of Yevhen Stankovych "On the Hill" with distinct non-folklore tendencies was written in the early period of the artist's work, while the experiences of recent years are embodied in the work "Touch of the Angel".
The program of the concert will also include "meta music" by Valentin Silvestrov, in particular, "Melodies of Moments", and "Dedication to Bach" as a mirror of today's realities of wars. There will also be meditative "Songs without Words" by the composer, a piece dedicated to the soloist Bohdana Pivnenko, as an invitation to the music of silence.
