Christmas in Lviv is special. Clementy Sheptytsky Museum of Folk Architecture and Life (Shevchenkivskiy Hai) in Lviv invites you to a traditional Christmas celebration. On January 8, the 15th Christmas Festival "Christmas Star Illuminate" begins, within which a sacred procession of Christmas stars craftsmen will take place.
The main symbol of this year`s festival is the Yavoriv star. Everyone is invited to join in the Christmas event.
The route of the procession:
12:15 am - Formation of the Column and Blessing of The Star Craftsmen (Khram "Presvyatoyi Yevkharystiyi" Muzeina Square, 1)
1:00 pm - start of the procession
1:05 pm - Stavropihiiska Street
1.10 pm - Rynok Square. Caroling near the shops
1.15 pm - Katedralna Square
1.20 pm - Svobody Ave (to the Statue of the Virgin Mary)
1.25 pm - Statue of the Virgin Mary. Caroling
1.30 pm - Statue of Taras Shevchenko. Caroling
1.35 pm - Square Near The Christmas Tree
