Deep Forest, the iconic electronic project by Frenchman Eric Mouquet, returns to Ukraine with two concerts for the first time in 7 years
At the concerts in Ukraine, Mouquet will present his new album, Crystal Clear, which was released just a few days ago. This long play is a collaboration with the French electronic musician Olivier Delafosse.
Mouquet says that he is often asked what the near future of electronic music will be like. In his opinion, it will be just like the material in Crystal Clear, where two artists, using four hands, combine different musical worlds into one release.
Here you will find the natural ambient sound for which Eric Mouquet is world-renowned, as well as keyboard ballads, jazz, EDM, afrobeat, and more. Crystal Clear is an example of successful eclecticism, where genres do not compete with each other but harmoniously coexist.
The ability to combine and be consistent in this has made Eric Mouquet a renowned musician. This is why Deep Forest became the first French project to receive a Grammy in 1995 for the album Bohème.
These qualities have resonated with his fans, many of whom are musicians themselves. This includes both listeners (Sainte Vie, Fakear, SAMIFATI, Onuka) and those who have happily collaborated with him on their own music, such as Josh Groban, Herbie Hancock, and Peter Gabriel.
So, we invite you in July to hear a mix of electronic, ethnic, jazz, classical, and epic sounds. Before your eyes and in your ears, they will transform into compositions that inspire.
All proceeds from both performances will be donated to the "Come Back Alive" fund.
