On December 27 at 6 pm, the concert "Duo Sonoro" will be held at the Lviv National Philharmonic.
Strawberries and sonata, Gamma Volopas, and meditation on strings - what do berries, musical genre, constellation, and music have in common? The program of the violin and piano duet "Duo Sonoro" will tell about this. The event will open with the composition of the twentieth-century genius Borys Liatoshynsky - proof of a turning point in the development of the Ukrainian chamber sonata, a harbinger of modernism in the work of the young artist. Harmonic refinement, complex thematic interweaving, and existentially sad pictures of images from the artistic integrity characteristic of the Master.
The work of contemporary Bohdan Sehin, "Gamma Volopas", is dedicated to his wife Roksoliana. The poetic annotation reads: "The light of the star through time overcomes the infinity of the universe to continue its journey in the pupils of our eyes. It penetrates into the most secret, unknown to us spaces of our being. The light of the star never stops. Never goes out."
