On December 7, from 10 am to 7 pm, a charity book fair will be held at the Sheptytskyi Center.
The aim of the project is to collect books for the de-occupied territories where schools, libraries and reading spaces were destroyed.
The first location for which the collection was held was the restored digital educational centre in the village of Bohdanivka, Kyiv region. There, the school was completely burned down by Russians, the library was lost and more than 500 children were left without access to education and even warm book stories. For 3 months we have been collecting books shared by kind people from all over Ukraine.
And with this fair, we want to complete the collection for Bohdanivka, report and announce the continuation and expansion of the project for the Mykolaiv region!
How will this happen?
You just come to the hall of the Sheptytsky Center on December 7 during the day and choose any books you like. That's right: you will be able to buy books for yourself, for gifts for St. Nicholas, New Year or for someone just for fun. And a percentage of the proceeds each publisher has kindly agreed to convert into books for the project.
As you can see, the formula is simple: you buy books for yourself and do a good deed for your big and small fellow citizens.
